Milk Allergies in Small Children
For the first two years of my daughter's life she screamed so loudly that we had to explain to the neighbors that we were not mistreating her. Eventually we discovered that she had a milk allergy (so even breast feeding her was a problem). However, once we possessed this knowledge and eliminated all forms of milk from her diet, her disposition changed immediately. It was like night and day. Eliminating milk entirely from her diet was a little challenging because the milk protein is contained in other things (whey for example) so we had to become adept at reading ingredient labels. This challenge was not insurmountable however. Interestingly, when she was about two and a half years old she "grew out" of the allergy. Know hope.
